Meghan Trainor “Nice To Meet Ya” video… a vampire dancer and a pricey printer

Meghan Trainor has a new video for “Nice To Meet Ya” (I know what you’re thinking, but no, it’s not Niall Horan “Nice To Meet Ya”), and the video seems to be a hit with Megatronz. Take a look…

Meghan Trainor and Nicki Minaj are obviously the stars of the song/video, but how about that printer! Am I right? It’s the Sharp MX-M623N and it’s featured in a whopping 10 different clips throughout the video.

This laster printer will set you back a few bucks, but it boasts 62 b&w pages per minute! So for the length of this video (3 min, 17 sec), Meghan could’ve also printed off 203.5 pages. In other words, the average length of a best-selling novel! Or about 6 of my children’s books, which you can conveniently find by clicking here or message me for signed copies 🙂

Actually, based on the screen grab below from the video, maybe she DID print out a novel, but she’s sitting on it till she gets a good publishing deal.

The office desks are blue and you’ll notice throughout the video, many scenes show blue items in front or on top of pink items.

This might represent the viewpoint that society (and business, in general) is a male-dominated space. This fits the theme of the song, too, which puts into lyrics the idea that women are no longer going to conform to what they think they should be for a man’s sake. Women are equal, hear them roar.

Quite possibly the most dramatic part of the video is the woman in pastel blue (right side of image below). SHE MIGHT BE VAMPIRE!!! Notice how she is not visible in the mirror reflection of the women. This also fits the theme of the song that women can be whatever they want, EVEN VAMPIRES!

Meghan wears 5 different wardrobe ensembles but she and Nicki Minaj are the only ones who don’t wear any pastel colors (excluding Nicki’s pink hair and Meghan’s handkerchief-type things at the tail end of the video). All the other men and women– excuse me– women and men, are wearing bright colors. Meghan sticks to black, white, and gray.

By the end of the video, pink is the dominate color scheme. No doubt this was on purpose, as shown with Meghan sitting in a blue chair holding up a large pink newspaper, and her heavy pink eye shadow.
