Chevrolet’s Christmas Commercial – The Car, the Heartstrings, and More!

I’m not crying, YOU’RE crying. Ok, seriously, I can’t even set this one up properly because the commercial speaks for itself. A tear-jerker is what it is! Take a look. Check out the extended version of Chevrolet’s Christmas commercial.

“Holiday Ride” features a 1966 Impala. The crew is credited in the YouTube description:

“Based on actual events, we teamed up with Academy Award winners Tom Hooper (director), Claudio Miranda (director of photography) and Rachel Portman (composer) to tell the story of love, redemption and restoration.”

More about the background of the crew can be found here.

The agency. This ad was created by agency Commonwealth/McCann.

The Music. All I can find is “The Holly and The Ivy” by Daryl Neil Alexander Griffith.

Since 2005, I've called Nashville home. I'm the leader of the pack, which includes a 13-year-old beagle and an 11-year-old blue heeler mix. My days include writing, video editing, and other fun activities. Thanks for checking out my blog, I hope you enjoy it!
