The Amazon Apartment Jungle Commercial – The Music and More!

Happy new year! I *barely* stayed awake long enough to watch the ball drop in New York City. That was after giving the Nashville New Year’s Eve show a try, but I forgot to remember that I don’t like country music very much. Oops! Late in Dick Clark’s Rocking New Year’s Eve, Amazon had a time slot for their new commercial. Kicking off 2024, here’s one of two new Amazon ads (the other is the coffee-drinking dad commercial)… it’s called “Concrete Jungle.”

The Song. The song in the commercial is called “Full of Life” by Christine and the Queens and it was released in 2023. Find out more about the band on their Instagram: @ChristineandtheQueens or find out more from their website ChristineandtheQueens.com.

Party Like It’s 1680. The melody in the song is “Canon in D” by Pachelbel. Since it’s Christmas time (sort of?), here’s my favorite version from Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

I love the song and the commercial. It shows off the benefits of Amazon Prime with a pleasant song to go along with the visuals. Do you like it? Chime in below!

Take care and see you tomorrow (I post every day at 1pm central!)…

Since 2005, I've called Nashville home. I'm the leader of the pack, which includes a 13-year-old beagle and an 11-year-old blue heeler mix. My days include writing, video editing, and other fun activities. Thanks for checking out my blog, I hope you enjoy it!

    1. the song is available on YouTube. Look for Christine and the Queens. There’s an amazing live version she did at an Olympic fundraiser in Paris

  1. Really wish the words were wedding appropriate. I would love to have her voice sing me down the aisle as a beautiful soulful-sounding variant from the normal orchestral version of Pachelbel’s Canon inD.

  2. Love it? I’ve seen it like 3000 thousand times now… and all I could understand was the word ‘daughter’… and probably the first 2000 times I didn’t even know what it was for…
Thought maybe it was a singer who had stroke… thanks to you for shedding light what the song was.. which is more pleasant at most other parts other than what they put in the commercial… had avoid all the ‘fucking’ parts.

    1. Yes I do I’m glad that they left out of course the fucking parts but there’s so much energy that comes out of the song it’s weird it keeps you interested and every time you see it you feel the same

    2. I so agree with you I hate the song myself. I have yet to know what the lyrics are!!! I mute it everytime it comes on because it’s so annoying to me!
