Joy is making a comeback!

If you caught any of the Democrat National Convention, you might have caught on that joy is making a comeback all over the nation. The party of inclusion has latched on to a few key words and phrases — “When we fight, we win” and “We’re not going back” — and they’re incorporating these things into all of their speeches and commercials.

They already commandeered “pride” so I guess joy was the next thing on the list! The only thing is, it feels flimsy. Like a house of cards. They only gained all this joy when Joe Biden announced he was no longer seeking reelection. What they’re feeling might be closer to short-term happiness than long-term joy, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. I mean, joy is a great thing to have. In the Bible, it’s part of the fruit of the spirit so whenever there’s a chance to get it, get it!

Who wants to make a bet that if Donald Trump gets more votes for the election, all this joy will suddenly disappear? We’ll see a lot more of stuff like crying, anger, people pledging to tear everything down. You know, joyful stuff. Mostly peaceful, I’m sure.
