10 Screenshots Dating is A Joke – August 2025

If you’re not in the dating world… by choice or because you’re married or in a relationship, be thankful! Here are a few interactions I’ve had doing online dating. I’m not always the best communicator and I say some off the wall stuff sometimes, but these convos are real gems.

She had a handful of children and didn’t care to have a normal, adult convo so I thought I was so clever with a “baby daddy” zinger. Then she zinged back… I think… and I don’t know if I should be sad for her or give her major props.

Third time’s a charm… or not.

This woman stated that she loves being on the water but evidently she doesn’t love talking to guys she matches with. Even with a pretty good burn.

When you match with someone and it turns out you know her sister. I guess she wanted to be anonymous?

You absolutely cannot date this woman if you’re in her town for work or vacation. But if she comes to your town for work or vacation, all good. Makes complete sense.

Her profile was well put together, using the analogy of her life being a story that’s still getting written. I played off of that when I had my one-sided conversation with her.

We were having a playful conversation listing things we thought were unpopular opinions. I had no idea I was talking to a former high school cheer captain. Sheesh.

She listed on her profile that communication is something she thinks highly of. Or maybe she’s just lying to herself.

Hello… a five-letter word that is taboo to some.

Now I’ll never know who was at the door.
