Yesterday the title of this post popped in my head, though I had no idea what the content would be. In fact I still don’t. I guess I’m curious to find out if being a gentleman in the 21st century looks any different than one from last century, or say, even 30 years ago. Sure lots of things have changed as far as social interaction, technology, the role of men and women in relationships, and more, but have the overarching themes of being a chivalrous man been revised at all since my grandfather was a young man? Today at this very moment, I believe for a guy to conduct himself that way would stand out quite a bit. It would appear old-fashioned, rare, ancient, and perhaps even frowned upon in some ways. I envision it as a refreshing alternative to what’s become acceptable. Any other thoughts on the subject? Feel free to share in the comments!
A Modern-Day Gentleman

Since 2005, I've called Nashville home. I'm the leader of the pack, which includes an 11-year-old beagle and a 9-year-old blue heeler mix. My days include writing, video editing, dog boarding, and other fun activities. Thanks for checking out my blog, I hope you enjoy it! View all posts by Ben Wilder
