Apple iPhone “Tracked” Commercial featuring Felix! The music, actor, and more.

Apple has a new ad out addressing a concern a lot of us have. Apps tracking us! Take a look then scroll down for more info about the commercial…

Who is Felix? There are a few things to highlight in this ad, first is obviously the actor playing Felix. His name is Eric Stroud. You can check out his resume here. He has also played the lead in a commercial you might recognize from Wix.com. His height is listed as 5’8″.

He also appears at the end of this Heineken ad.

The Music. The song in the Apple ad is “Mind Your Own Business” by Delta 5.

If you think this song sounds like it’s from the 1970s, you’re right. It was released in 1979.

The @Flx1986 thing. You won’t find anything significant by searching this handle on Twitter or Instagram. Take a look at what pops up for both social avenues below. I wonder how long it took them to come up with a simple handle name that wasn’t already taken.

The birthday. It is revealed that Felix was born on November 5, 1986, which was a Wednesday and makes Felix 34 years old.

No talky talky. For an ad about a phone, it’s rather ironic that Felix never says a single word in the entire minute-long commercial.

The location! At least part of this ad was filmed in Prague, capital city of the Czech Republic. In the screenshot below is the Hotel Astoria, located at Rybná 680/10, 110 00 Staré Město, Czechia.

What do you think of the ad? If you have an iPhone, have you opted out of being tracked by any specific apps? Chime in below and, as always, thanks for stopping by!
