Minnie has been accounted for… rest in peace :/

Last week I posted about being surprised by a mouse in my kitchen. Unfortunately, he met his demise and within two days I suspected there was a second critter in the kitchen.

Well, time of death was whatever day I set the trap back out on the kitchen counter overnight. I was in bed, not quite asleep and heard “SNAP!” and went running to the kitchen. Sure enough, mouse #2 got caught with her paw in the cookie jar face in the peanut butter.

I’m determined to not kill mice in that way again. The very next day I found these traps on Amazon and they seem like a MUCH better way to resolve the problem, short of just somehow figuring out why they’re coming in and changing that factor.

I hope these types of traps are effective! Do you have a mouse story to share? Comment below and let’s chat!
