I don’t think I’ve ever laughed at something as serious as a hurricane, but The Weather Channel MUST be getting into satire. Watch out Babylon Bee and The Onion! Take a look at a bizarre headline from TWC website yesterday, the day before Hurricane Idalia made landfall in northwest Florida. And for satire that’s not quite as funny, check out my Original Satire page.
Has there ever been a more sensationalized headline than “…results we haven’t seen in modern times”? Who the heck do they think they are? They should be beyond embarrassed to post stories like that. Do they not remember Andrew, Michael, and Katrina? Because of that, The Weather Channel is dead to me. What should we expect though, they even claim that they’re the best at providing weather. Goofballs.
Outside of radars and factual weather data, I will be treating The Weather Channel strictly as satire henceforth and forevermore.

From what I remember is that TWC wasn’t even following what the Nation Weather Services was saying for years about the weather. They were doing their own thing. But I haven’t watch TWC or any of the local news in years on hurricanes and such. I have found a ham radio operator who does better predictions on Hurricanes without all the scare you have to death reporting on it. OK I understand they need to warn people to make them do something but still..

Totally agree! The weather channel just cares about ratings and clicks, I guess.
