Burger King Without The Jingle – The Voiceover Artist and More!

Burger King is flame-broiling their way into the new year with a new commercial and spoiler alert, it DOESN’T include the full jingle we’ve all come to know and love (or hate). All I can say is God bless whoever greenlit a voiceover artist instead! Check out the new ad then scroll down for more info…

The Voice. Providing his smooth, deep voice for the commercial is artist Heath Martin. I found a post of his on Instagram (@HeathMartinVO) and he’s very proud of the commercial, as he should be! Quite an accomplishment to have work on a national level like this.

Flame-boyant. “Made By Flame” is BK’s twist on a well-known phrase, “Forged By Fire.” I supposed they tweaked it for our palettes, I mean, who wants a burger forged by fire? Sounds like we’d be eating a Ford or something. I know some people love the Burger King jingle (blah blah blah whopper whopper “you rule!”) so I have a feeling we haven’t heard the last of it. But I welcome the change in the new ad, even if they keep the musical melody as a backdrop for future voiceovers. Or perhaps they can use singers with pleasant voices (what a novel idea), like the original ads they’re paying homage to?

Either way, share your comments below! Do you like the use of a voiceover instead of the well-known jingle?
