Give me the keyboard, little pigeon! Hi there. Contrary to what you’re probably thinking, this is *not* part of the novel being written in the new Progressive commercial. Two birds notice how much money they can save by signing up with Progressive, and one of them fantasizes about flying south as a passenger on an airplane. He snacks, he works on his book. He literally hunts and pecks to type and it amounts to complete nonsense (in English, at least), except for perfectly spelling “chuckandgina” so maybe those are the names of the birds starring in the ad? Voices. You’ve probably heard these voices and know the actors already. One has a very recognizable voice, the other stars on a cult favorite TV show. Voicing the birds are actors H. Jon Benjamin (Archer, Bob’s Burgers) and comedian Retta (who played Donna on “Parks and Rec”).
Give You the Bird. Birds are a bit controversial if you believe conspiracy theories have any legitimacy. Think about it, if they were real, they wouldn’t be able to talk. Secondly, Big Bird is proof that the truth was hiding in plain sight throughout our childhoods. Birds aren’t real. I guess these photos I’ve taken just feature fancy drones.
