If there’s one thing everyone can agree on, it’s this– Insurance is boring. If you’re ever at a party and find yourself talking about insurance, you’ve already lost. The party is a dud. Go home. Try again tomorrow. But insurance commercials? That’s a whole other story. A lot of ads utilize humor to promote the product, especially when there’s only 30 seconds to sell insurance. A tall task. GEICO has great commercials going all the way back to The Caveman ads. But lately, it’s been the spokeslizard carrying the brand and doing it well. And just a reminder, he might look like Cousin Darryl but it’s just a weird coincidence.
