I was in a bad mood till this happened

In my last post I wrote about how I finished a good workout thanks to a friend who was really ticking me right off! I ran a fast mile, but unfortunately the mood I was in didn’t disappear after this good workout.

I left the gym to do a few errands before heading back home for lunch but I still couldn’t shake how annoyed I felt. That is, until walking into Kroger, I glanced over to my right, and saw this…

I actually didn’t even have my phone with me but I just had to go back to the car for it, then approached the man and his son to ask if it was OK to take a few pictures. I wanted to remember and document the moment my mood changed. Before this I was angry and annoyed, and almost in an instant everything changed. It was just a father and a son watching an excavator at work, but there was something so divine about it. A gentle reminder to not major on the minors. The father told me that his young son is obsessed with this kind of machinery after they read the book “Are You My Mother” to him. He went on to support this truth by telling me that one time he showed his son a train going by and his son wasn’t interested at all.

I thought this was a cool moment and just wanted to share it with you. Have you had experiences like this? If so, I’d love to hear it so comment below…

As always, thanks for stopping by!
