Today’s special surprise is an amazing moment I happened to be in the right place for…. this bald eagle hunting the seashore below. The backstory is this… I was standing on the shoreline during low tide and this eagle was flying overhead. He’s usually perched in the trees nearby so for him to come out into the open meant he was serious about eating some fish! As he flew around, I was snapping away just happy to be watching him and getting some pictures. It wasn’t till later that day I saw this image and it took my breath away with the wings spread and feathers showing so well. It’s a moment I will remember for a long time, and by some sort of divine intervention, I can see this photo to remember the moment, too.
