SKYRIZI goes country in new ad

Warning: this song WILL get stuck in your head. You’ve been warned. SKYRIZI seems to have hit a home run with their jingle for medication treating psoriasis. You need a prescription for the meds, but not for the beats. Listen to their original ad…

While millenial cliché phrases like, “Nothing is everything,” annoy me like nothing (or everything?) else, I guess I can admit the song is upbeat and catchy. I literally catch myself singing it random times during the day. The singer is Miranda Cosgrove.

Now they’re back in a whole new genre! Isn’t it so like pop music to go country!? I’m looking at you Post Malone. SKYRIZI is riding the trend with another ad featuring the same song, but with a country twang.

UPDATE: Thanks to keen viewers/listeners, comments below point out the singer is Bill Champlin (unconfirmed so far). Can anyone confirm this?

What do you think of this country and western ad? Is it as catchy as the original? Is nothing actually everything? Chime in below!

  1. I’ve seen Bill in concert with Chicago probably 15 times and have listened to his music for a good 40 years. While there are nuances to the voice that sound like Bill, I’m 99% sure this is not him singing.

  2. This singer has an accent. Why is it so hard to find out who actually sings it. I like the hillbilly version. Unique voice!

  3. I love country music, but this new version…GOT TO GO!!
Does anyone know why they dumped the original? It was very catchy and I found myself randomly singing “nothing is everythiiiiiiiiiiing”… which annoyed my wife to no end!

    1. It’s garbage bubble gum. Popular music in the mainstream reflects the dumbed down audience. Willfully ignorant popular culture. Willfully ignorant electorate and population. The only thing that will save America now is civil war two and the purge of Democrat voters. Fuck Joe Biden and you 81 million morons that voted for him. Americans want Democrats dead.

  4. Came here, because I was wondering to myself, “Why is Bill Champlin singing the Skyrizi commercial?” Anybody here who says this isn’t Bill Champlin, doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

    1. I swear each time I hear it, I tell my wife it sounds like Bill! Glad someone else thinks so. I wonder how to find out. Nothing on his page. But I doubt many musicians of his caliber won’t say anything about jingles. But I’m with you. I want to know for sure. His voice is soooo unique.

  5. I came here because I was wondering why Bill Champlin was singing in this commercial. I’ve listened extensively to Chicago’s songs. I can tell you this is DEFINITELY Bill Champlin. Anyone here saying otherwise doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

  6. This version of the song is catchy…totally sounds like a song the band Sixwire would do…similar to “Look At Me Now” from them…

  7. They’ve ruined the nice, catchy song with that country version. The pop/ dance original version was the best!

  8. I HATE the original commercial because of the way she sings “getting.” She pronounces it Geh’ing – as if there are no letter Ts in the word. Every time I hear it, I want to find her and say “I’s pronounced “Get-ting”!!!

    1. Horrible, annoying jingle. I suspect the “singer’s” “Southern accent” is FAKE, FAKE, FAKE!!! I hate that whining, reedy, voice!

  10. The singer is Daniel Swartz. He was the lead singer for a band called Amber’s Drive who broke up a few years ago. They were fantastic! Shame they broke up. My wife, daughter and I saw them many times in concert.

    1. I KNEW he is a fake hillbilly! Probably lives in NYC, meets his friends at Schraft’s, couldn’t make it in Rock or R&B, so turned to Country.

  11. I immediately could tell Bill Champlin’s voice. Not quite true country, but totally Bill. Awesome talent. Listen to some Sons of Champlin, or check out his solo work — before and after Chicago era. I like this version better.

  12. Very annoying but what pharma commercial isn’t tho… Sounds like whoever is singing this latest Skyrizi commercial is trying to imitate Rascal Flatts….
