The DoorDash Ants Commercial – Epic Metal Mosh Pit

DoorDash and Raid have partnered up for a commercial featuring an army of metalheads, or more technically correct– a colony of rebellious ants. How many ants further down the kitchen counter just want them to turn down the music so they can sleep!? Plus, I’d love to see all the tattoos on these insects. Check out the ad the scroll down for more…

It’s half mosh pit and half that feeling you get when your grocery cart doesn’t have any wobbly wheels. But no matter what is ACTUALLY happening– ants finding the most sugary food in the house– those ants are living their best lives. I’m not a metal fan by any stretch of the imagination and I can think of 27 things I rather do than go to a rager like this one. But DoorDash put together a fun commercial that 99.9% of us can relate to. Ants just seem to show up uninvited and unannounced all the time, don’t they?

The only thing that isn’t adding up in the ad is the use of the red DoorDash insulated bag.. for two reasons.

  1. The bag is what the drivers use to carry the order from the business to the customer. So why does the customer have it in their house?
  2. Carrying a pesticide in a bag that is also used to transport food is generally a no-no.
