“Because He Lives” – unforgettable worship Easter 2020

Do any of y’all remember this song from the old hymnal days?

The song was written by Bill and Gloria Gaither back in the 70s. As a young child in the 80s, this song was part of my Baptist church upbringing. In fact, one church I attended would sing this song every Sunday to end the service, and we’d reach across and hold each other’s hands as we sang. Good memories!

Well, I’m 99% sure this online rendition of the hymn will be my top favorite musical performance from the coronavirus quarantine this year. And on top of that, it’s worship. Take a look at part of the Easter service from Passion City Church in Atlanta, Georgia.

Enjoy the music, the message, and maybe take a chance on trusting Jesus today! Comment below with your favorite part. My top favorite part? Easily it’s when the baby says “Amen!” halfway through the video. 😉 PS. The song starts at 52:15
