*Wondering who stars in Jon Pardi’s new video “Tequila Little Time”? Find out here*
Jon Pardi’s music video for “Ain’t Always the Cowboy” compliments the song very well, which is very important. There’s nothing worse than a music video that ruins the song for the listener/viewer. Of course, fans would expect nothing less from the country singer who seems to hit a homerun with every song and video.
Getting right to the details of this video, the woman featured here is Jessica Holmberg. If you thought she looked comfortable on the horse, it’s because she’s very comfortable on a horse. Jessica is a barrel racer in Texas.
Jessica may be from Texas, but the video was shot a few states over… Tucson, Arizona.
Jessica’s character has a love interest who is played by model Brian Patrick Harris. Finding info on him is proving to be difficult but so far I’ve discovered him with a very different look on a professional make-up website here.
Now this next piece of info cannot be confirmed so it’s just my opinion, but it looks like the part of “boyfriend” in this video is played by Brian Patrick Harris (as mentioned above) and… drum roll please… Jessica’s husband, singer/songwriter Jarrod Morris. Check out the man in the bed and compare him to the man at the end (Brian). They look similar… very similar. Thoughts? Maybe it’s just the lighting and how similar the two guys look in real life that’s throwing me off.
If this is the case, that Jessica’s husband plays the part of “bed boyfriend,” I’d guess it was Jessica’s decision to not be in bed (even in an acting scene) with a man who isn’t her husband. As I said, none of this is confirmed, just a hunch!
The video was directed by Carlos Ruiz, who has directed most of Jon Pardi’s music videos, and done a great job with each. He’s definitely got an eye for the visuals that fit the idea of Jon Pardi’s music very well. See Heartache Medication and Heartache on the Dance Floor.
The Dodge Ram has a “Mayse” license plate which appears to represent Mayse Automotive Group out of Aurora, Missouri.
Check out these folks on their socials and be sure to give them some love! Thanks for stopping by. If you have more info to share about this video, feel free to comment below.

I just don’t understand why they couldn’t find a Chevrolet for the video!!!

Couldn’t agree more! One of my pet peeves is when they do stuff like this. Also Jason Aldean “Dirt Road Anthem”… and he’s literally standing on a paved road.
