You know a commercial hit its mark when you can’t relate to the product at all but still get choked up. Such is the case with a new ad from Eli Lilly & Co. Whether you think the company is part of the big-picture problem or not, this ad might make you shed a tear or two. Check it out then scroll down for more…
I’ve written before about an ad from Lilly. It was a few years back and I won’t get into the details but in short, I wasn’t a fan. If you want to read about their subtle “White people are bad” commercial, click here. But looking at this new commercial through rose-colored glasses, the idea they present of curing Alzheimer’s is noble. Even if I can’t decipher if the couple in the ad is husband and wife or mother and son.
For more about Lilly’s work to end the disease, check out their site here. Lilly is the parent company behind a million brands, here’s the full list.

My wife has been diagnosed with early onset at age 57. This commercial destroys her. Knowing what is coming is hard enough, but having it thrown at you is insensitive to those dealing with this.
