The other day I stopped by a Dollar Tree store and wouldn’t you know, when I came out I did something so embarrassing.

Can you tell which car is mine? Right. I couldn’t either. The story goes that I nonchalantly left the store oblivious to the world around me. I unlocked the car, grabbed the handle of the rear driver side door to unload the bag of new stuff. It didn’t open. I thought, “Why didn’t the door unlock when I pressed the button? Hey, my windows look tinted. This is weird. What’s that stuff in my back seat?”

…and that’s when I realized I almost broke into someone else’s car.

I was listening to a SiriusXM station that was dedicated to all Prince music for an entire month and it was fantastic. There were so many songs I hadn’t heard before and because of that, I realized the artist formerly known as Prince had a lot of song titles that were just numbers, for example, “1999” and “7.” Being a thinking man, I wondered how many other songs out there are titled with only numbers? A few years ago I wrote a post (check it out here) wondering if Adam and Eve were vegetarians. I concluded that they must’ve been based on a few Scripture verses and stories referenced in the post.

Another verse has come to my attention… not because it’s a new one but because I’m just that ignorant and stubborn about verses that have been in the Bible the whole time!

Check out Genesis 3:21…

The Lord God made clothing out of skins for Adam and his wife, and He clothed them.

So to make an update to my post before, I’d say yes Adam and Eve were vegetarians, but only the kind that do it for their diet. They weren’t lifestyle vegetarians because, well… they were the first to wear fur coats 🙂
