Birds Aren’t Real

As much as I love birds, I was shocked and downright disappointed to find out they aren’t real. From the beautiful cardinals, to pelicans, and eagles, they are just intricately designed drones.

The government has harnessed the power, versatility, and coverage of birds to spy on people. Take a look at a diagram that shows the breakdown of how the bird drones are engineered.

That’s a diagram, so it must be real. The next time you see a bunch of birds standing on an electrical wire over a road, remember that they’re not just hanging out. They’re charging.

They’re also watching, so go the speed limit and don’t run red lights!

What is your favorite water sport or activity?

On a recent vacation, I had the opportunity to enjoy a lot of water sports on the gulf coast of Florida. Now that I’m putting this down in writing, I’m actually amazed by just how many I was involved in (whether it was participating or just watching). From the pictures below, which is your favorite to be involved with? If you haven’t done some of them, which is one you are really wanting to try? Comment below and I’ll let you know if it’s worth the effort 🙂

Activities below include wakeboarding, paddleboarding, kayaking, using a e-foil surf board, fishing, walking, sailing, boating, lounging, walking, tubing, skimboarding, jet skiing, and fishing.

Comment below with what is or might be your favorite activity!

Sheeeeeeeesh – I have no idea what it means

I recently learned from my 7th grade niece that kids these says, mostly boys, say “sheeeeeeeeesh” and do some sort of arm thing at the same time. Further reports reveal that this trend is pretty much exclusive to middle school agr and younger.

College age boys have been heard repeating the phrase but more in a goofy, ironic way. This news was delivered by my college-age niece.

My immediate reaction was curiosity. What does sheesh mean? Is there any hidden message?

My next thought… Why don’t I care? I guess it’s because I’m an adult. Now, there are trends I am interested in, for sure. Just not this one 🙂

If I never find out what this means or why it caught on, I’m 100% OK with that. With that said, someone please explain!!

Thanks in advance 🙂

Fun Light Motion with a Sony 6600

I love trying different things with my Sony A6600 and last night I recorded some images that turned out to be pretty cool! Inspired by my friend, photographer Joe Hendricks– who has done some amazing light motion photography, here are my favorite pictures from last night…including lights from sparklers, small fireworks, and my phone’s flashlight.

Bright and Colorful Fireworks Images

This post is slightly different because it will include a lot of pictures. Today’s content: fireworks! What better than fireworks on the 4th of July, right? On the southern shore of north Florida is “The Forgotten Coast,” a beautiful place to enjoy sand and sea.

Well, last night here on the beach included a few fireworks shows, a lead-up to tonight when all over the country we will celebrate our nation’s independence.

And how do we do that? With fireworks and patriotic music, of course! Take a look at photos I captured from last night…and happy 4th of July to you.
