The scariest dog park in Florida

I visited a dog park in the Tallahassee area this morning and since it’s Florida I went in with some knowledge of the dangerous wildlife. First, I Google mapped it. I thought a little pond would be fun for the pups.

The only thing is, this was a giant pond…and there were 2 ponds, anyway. As soon as I arrived my guards went up. Leashes stayed on and we will not be coming back to this place anytime soon!

Other folks there said alligators have been seen in the park and a snake bite happened in the summer.

I didn’t see any predators but goodness gracious, visiting the dog park shouldn’t be a life-threatening experience! Or maybe I’m just a wimp.

Pawfect Partners

Saw these pawfect partners at a stoplight. No trouble getting ar-hound town when you’re using Poogle Maps, and I bet that pup is her best friend.

Gosh, I love dogs! Thanks for stopping by…

Big Sky – The Music From Season 2 Episode 2

Big Sky is back with another entertaining including a great soundtrack for the second installment of drama in season 2. Not quite as many songs as episode 1 (click here for that playlist), but nonetheless, I think the win goes to Jenny Hoyt, who’s wardrobe was another nod to legendary music. She wore a shirt that said “Clash City Rockers” (a song by The Clash) and another shirt with UB40 plastered across the front. UB40 is most known for their remake of “Can’t Help Falling In Love.”

Now, on to the music… Here are the songs making up the soundtrack to episode 2.

“Will You Love Me Tomorrow” – The Shirelles

“You Make Our House A Home” – Makky Kaylor

“Warm Shadow” – Colin Stetson & Justin Vernon (Of Bon Iver)

Hand-Drawn Portraits of My Family

When your 13-year old niece is already an amazing sketch artist, new things are being added to her drawing portfolio all the time.

Some of you have seen photos of me and/or my dogs, but these hand-drawn images are instantly my favorite.

I am not the cutest guy ever and my niece captured it perfectly…

But the dogs. Wow. I mean, have you seen cuter hound dogs in your entire life?

I love being an uncle. Thanks for stopping by!
