You may have noticed we had a mix of kayaks and paddleboards but even among those there was different types – blow-up kayaks, regular kayaks, sit on top or sit in kayaks, and blow-up SUP boards. Have you had experiences with blow-up floatations? If so, comment below with your thoughts!

I’ve written about Xfinity’s ads recently, one campaign featuring a cover version of “Walk of Life,” by Dire Straits. If you’re curious about that one, click here. But moving right along, Xfinity has a new ad promoting their mobile phone plan. The ad is called “My World.” You can take a look at the spot here:

The ad features an assortment of folks doing their own thing: riding a horse in a downtown setting, clipping a bonsai tree, smoking out a motorcycle tire, riding a unicycle, and more. The ad is set to the music of Fleetwood Mac, “Go Your Own Way” but performed by a singer named Moses Sumney.
Moses can be found on screen or behind the camera. Here is a recent music video of his, followed by a music video he directed for the band Sylvan Esso.

February 1988 – has surgery for first brain aneurysm
May 1988- another surgery for second aneurysm – Jill Biden: “Our doctor told us there was a 50-50 chance Joe wouldn’t survive surgery. He also said that it was even more likely that Joe would have permanent brain damage if he survived. And if any part of his brain would be adversely affected, it would be the area that governed speech.”
January 31, 2007 – declares 2nd run for U.S. President
January 3, 2008 – withdraws Presidential run
August 22, 2008 – named as running mate for Barack Obama
November 4, 2008 – elected Vice President with Obama as President

October 2015 – decides not to run for U.S. President for election in 2016
January 12, 2017 – presented the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Barack Obama
April 25, 2019 – announces 3rd run for U.S. President
August 11, 2020 – names Kamala Harris as his Vice President

In a country that seems clearly divided, you might say the company Gap is trying to close the gap with their new series of ads featuring people of all colors and styles. Check out one of the ads here:
The well-known song is “Come Together,” made famous by a band called The Beatles. It was released in 1969 and has since been covered by just about everyone. The version used in these ads is by Kristina Train, a cover she released in 2020.
