The most important thing in our world today

The other day as I was walking around the dog park with Piper and Asia another obvious, yet mind-blowing thought crossed my mind.

Think about it… almost every single thing we do is directly or almost directly because of gravity alone. Shoes? We want a comfortable pair because why? Because gravity is pulling us down and our feet hurt. Sleep? We want a soft or firm mattress based on how gravity is pulling our bodies into the mattress. How much we weigh, gym workouts, running up hills, car fuel consumption, weighted blankets for better sleep, how much almond milk is in a container (if measured in ounces), so much depends on gravity being the same day in and day out.

Can you think of anything in your life that isn’t related to gravity in any way? Comment below and I bet we can somehow related it back to our earth’s amazing magnet.

Sony projector clock is amazing!

At first, I thought a projector clock would be a good idea and that I would like it. Now that I’ve had one for about 2 months, I feel very confident in saying that I do not like it…

I LOVE IT.

You can project the time in red numbers anywhere in a room, but so far my favorite spot is the ceiling. Maybe this is weird but every time I’m getting ready for bed and think about the clock, my heart flutters.

Hey!! Instead of judging me, try one out for yourself! It will change your life. I’m using the Sony ICF-C1PJ so if you want this one, click here for the Amazon listing. Please note, although I’m not paid to endorse this project, if you purchase it through the Amazon link I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

There are some drawbacks, I suppose. The most common one you’ll see on any reviews is that the project automatically turns off after being on for 16 hours. This doesn’t bother me because I’d probably shut it off each morning when I wake up anyway. Another drawback I’ve notices is the buttons are a little confusing. There are about 10 different buttons on top and back and to activate certain functions, you have to press and hold, or press twice, or keep pressing continuously. It’s something to consult the manual for, which is rather annoying when you just want a clock that tells time, has an alarm, and projects. But overall, I do indeed love it!

Toy Story 4 review (no spoilers)

Yes, I’m a 41-year-old man and yes, I just watched Toy Story 4… and LOVED IT! I’ll try not to give too much away but as an adult, I found it very funny. I didn’t think the plot was really dramatic but gosh, there were so many funny parts. One thing Disney does really well is having the perfect script line at the perfect time, basically it’s all about timing, and they nailed it again and again in this one.

The characters were all so likable, even the terrifying ones (you’ll know who I mean if/when you watch). The one who stole the show was a new character named Forky. He’s not trash, but he’s made from trash. There’s also a character voiced by Keanu Reeves who did a great job in that role.

I think kids do (or will) like this movie, and if you’re an adult who enjoys a good wholesome funny Disney movie, you need to see this one. It’s great! If I had to rate the 4 in order of my favorites, here’s how I’d rank them:

Toy Story

Toy Story 4

Toy Story 3

Toy Story 2

Justin Bieber “Yummy” video: eat it up, or lost your appetite?

Justin Bieber’s new video for “Yummy” might make your stomach growl! Here’s a list of all the food I recognize in the video:

Box of Chinese food, water with lemon, bread roll, French fries, gelatin dessert cake  thing, white bread with cheese, cake, lime jello cake, bread cake, fish, shrimp, green peas, croissants, lobster, cheese puffs, strawberries, and much more.

Ok, if you’re stomach’s not growling, you might be feeling queasy… so if you can stomach all 4 minutes of this song, you’ll also notice Justin is wearing a Drew House brand hoodie, which retails under $100, although I couldn’t find the exact sweatshirt on the website. This is Justin’s clothing brand (his middle name is Drew).

Credits in the YouTube video description list “Video Commissioner: Yolande Geralds” … this is the first I’ve ever heard of a video commissioner.

Throughout the video, Justin is wearing a puka shell-styled necklace a la 2000s Kenny Chesney. Why not, I guess.

Justin joined TikTok to promote the single and the video. Downside for Justin- now he’s on TikTok, yet another social platform to keep up with…. and like Betty White said of Facebook, TikTok is probably just another huge waste of time.

I really like the editing of this video, kudos! But that’s where my praise ends.

When anyone asks why I don’t like today’s R&B, I’ll just reference this song. I feel nauseous after listening/watching, and it’s not because of the food. It’s just a terrible song. I rather eat 3-week-old room temperature sushi than hear this song again.

The setup for a fun video is there, lots of food and interesting-looking characters. Why not have a food fight? Why not show off your wife? As it is, we see Justin eating, singing/talking with a mouth full of food, and dancing on a table. It’s just boring. I bet TikTok users came up with something better for this song, but I don’t want to check.

Thanks for stopping by!

A redhead has a 6% of winning The Bachelor

Episode 2 is in the books and is it just me or did the Hannah B. thing come across as a setup? She and Peter acted like they were in such a tough spot after reconnecting in episode 1. Is Hannah B. back in his life? Should she join the other women as a contestant? Oh, the drama. Then in a matter of seconds, as if cued by a producer, Peter decides he can’t do this and Hannah’s out the door with a hug and a smile. I’m so skeptical about the genuineness of this part of the show. Anyway, Peter meets up with the women from the group date he was still currently on and they skip right to the “after party.”

Later the rose ceremony happens so here are the updated stats for the women still remaining after episode 2.

There are 5 black women, 2 Asian women, and 10 white women.

Chances of winning…

A black woman: 29.4% (up 2% since episode 1)

An Asian woman: 11.8% (up 2.5% since episode 1)

A white woman: 58.8% (down 5% since episode 1)

Among the 10 white women, there are 4 brunettes (2 less than last week), 5 blondes (2 less than last week), and 1 redhead (go Lexie!).
